How to play Backgammon Race
Backgammon Race is the classic dice race for two. Each side moves fifteen checkers in opposite directions along twenty-four points. Roll two dice, slide checkers forward by the numbers shown, land on a lone checker to send it to the bar, and bring everything home before bearing off. Doubles give four moves, blocked points, entering from the bar and the must-play-the-larger-die rule all work as in the real game.
Play against the computer on Easy, Normal or Hard, or pass the device between two players. Pick a match to 1, 3 or 5 points: a gammon is worth 2 and a backgammon 3. Glowing checkers and green points show your legal moves, undo takes back moves of the current turn, and a hint can suggest one. A short rules guide is built in.
Your settings and your record against each computer level are saved on your device, so you can close the tab and come back later. The game runs in the browser with no download and no account.

FAQ
Can I play against a friend?
Yes. Choose Two players and pass the device: each side rolls and moves in turn.
How strong is the computer?
Easy plays loosely, Normal picks the best looking turn, Hard also considers your best reply.
What happens when I cannot move?
If no legal move exists for your dice the turn passes by itself. A checker on the bar must enter first.

Yes. It is free to play in your browser, with no download and no account.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. It runs on phones, tablets and computers. Tap a glowing checker, then a green point. Tap the dice or the Roll button to roll.
