This page explains what CIRVAI GAMES, operated by CIRVAI ("we", "us"), stores on your device, what is sent to others and the choices you have. We wrote it to be read; if something is unclear, ask us at hello@cvai.games.
In short
- There are no accounts. We do not ask for your name, email address or any other detail to play.
- Visit statistics are off until you allow them. If you allow them, our analytics provider (named below) sets cookies in your browser. They are never used on the game for young players or on its pages.
- Apart from that choice, the site sets no cookies. It keeps a few small items in your browser's local storage (listed below).
- We may show ads, provided by Google and other advertising partners. Where the law requires your consent for ad cookies or personalised ads, ads that need it load only after you agree.
- Pages and games for young players (the Kids category and Spooky Helpers) never show ads and make no request to anyone but this site.
Your controls
These buttons act on this browser only.
"Delete everything" removes your likes, recent games, scores, saved games, theme and your choices from this browser; it cannot be undone.
What is stored on your device
We use your browser's local storage; the only cookies are those of our analytics provider, and only if you allow statistics (see below). It stays on your device and is not sent to us. The games run from a separate address that belongs to us; they keep nothing there, and hand what they save to this site, which stores it under this site's name in your browser.
| Item | What it holds | Why |
|---|---|---|
cg:theme | light or dark | remember your colour setting |
cg:recent, cg:plays | the games you opened and how often | "Continue playing" row |
cg:likes | the games you liked | show your likes |
cirvai:analytics | whether you allowed visit statistics, and the time | load the analytics provider only if you said yes; ask again after 12 months (yes) or 6 months (no) |
cgd:<game> | progress, scores, settings and saved games of that game | let you continue where you stopped |
Nothing here identifies you. Clearing your browser's site data, or using the button above, removes all of it. If your browser blocks local storage (for example in a private window) the games still run, but they cannot remember anything.
Visit statistics
When you first open a page of the site, a bar asks whether you allow visit statistics; if you do not answer, the answer is no, nothing is sent, and the bar stays on each page until you answer. Nothing is sent to our analytics provider, and no analytics code is loaded, unless you choose to allow it. If you allow it, we use the provider listed here to count visits and see which pages and games players enjoy and which ones have problems. We use the results to choose which games to feature and recommend and to fix problems; we do not combine them with ads, do not use them for advertising and do not try to identify you.
- Google Analytics 4, a service of Google. It receives your IP address, the address and title of the page, your browser and device details and a random identifier. Cookies:
_ga, _ga_*. It acts as our processor and keeps the data for a limited period that we set.
If we change the provider, add another one or use the statistics for something new, we change this list and ask for your answer again.
The pages for young players (the Kids category and the game made for them) never load analytics and do not show the bar. You can change your mind at any time with the button above or with "Privacy settings" at the bottom of every page; turning statistics off stops collection and removes the analytics cookies from this site.
We remember your answer for 12 months if you allow statistics and for 6 months if you decline, and then ask again. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a "no": we do not show the bar and do not load analytics.
Server logs
The site is delivered through a hosting and content-delivery provider. To deliver pages and keep the service secure, that provider processes technical data such as your IP address, the page requested, the time and your browser type, and may keep it in server logs for a limited period under its own policy. We use this only to run and protect the site; we do not build profiles from it.
Ads and who provides them
Where ads are shown on this site they are real advertisements, bought by advertisers through advertising platforms such as Google AdSense and, inside some games, through other ad partners. They help pay for the free games. Advertisers and the platforms choose what an ad says; we do not. If an ad looks inappropriate or misleading, tell us where you saw it and what it showed at hello@cvai.games and we will report it to the ad platform.
To show an ad, measure it and prevent fraud, an ad provider receives information that your browser sends automatically: your IP address, device and browser details, the address of the page, and the ad's technical history. It may also read or set cookies or similar identifiers, for example to limit how often you see the same ad or, if you agree, to personalise ads.
Where the law requires consent (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), we ask for your choice through a consent tool before ad cookies or personalised ads are used, and you can change that choice at any time. We list the ad providers on this page when we start to use them.
Each ad provider decides for itself how it uses this data and is responsible for it under its own policies. For Google, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services. General opt-out tools: Google ad settings, aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.com.
Pages and games for young players never load advertising code and do not contact ad providers.
Why we may process data (EEA, UK and similar laws)
Where ads need your consent (ad cookies, personalised ads), the ad provider processes data about your visit for ads only when you agree, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Visit statistics also run only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Running and protecting the site (server logs) is our legitimate interest in providing a working, secure service. Local storage that is strictly needed to remember your settings and progress works without separate consent.
Children
CIRVAI GAMES is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13 except for games marked as made for young players. Those games show no ads, load nothing from third parties (not even visit statistics) and collect no personal information. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has sent us personal information, write to hello@cvai.games and we will delete it.
Where data goes
Our host and advertising partners such as Google and our analytics provider operate in many countries, so data about your visit can be processed outside the country where you live. Those companies use their own safeguards for such transfers.
How long we keep data
On your device: until you delete it. We do not keep copies on our own servers. Server logs and ad data and visit statistics are kept as long as the host and advertising partners such as Google and our analytics provider keep them under their own policies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to ask what data a company holds about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its use, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your data protection authority. Because we hold no account or profile about you, we usually have nothing to give back; the buttons above are the quickest way to remove what is on your device. Write to hello@cvai.games for anything else and we will answer within 30 days. For data held by an ad provider, use the tools linked above. For data held by our analytics provider, use its own privacy tools (named above).
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection. We keep the games free of outside requests so that a game cannot send your data anywhere except through the ad libraries of our advertising partners, where ads are shown. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this page
If our practices change, we update this page and the date at the top. If a change affects how ads work, we will say so here and, where the law requires it, ask for your choice again.
