How to play XO Arena
XO Arena takes the classic game of X and O further. Take turns placing your mark and be first to make the required line.
Play Classic 3x3, Infinity (only your last three marks stay on the board), or bigger 4x4, 5x5 and 6x6 boards where you need four in a row. Choose an easy, medium or hard bot, or pass the screen to a friend for a two player match.
Earn stars for wins and use them to unlock new mark skins. Hints and undo are available when you want a little help.

FAQ
What is Infinity mode?
In Infinity mode only your last three marks stay on the board. When you place a fourth, your oldest mark disappears, so the game never ends in a full board.
How many in a row do I need?
Three in a row on the 3x3 board. On the 4x4, 5x5 and 6x6 boards you need four in a row.
Can I play with a friend?
Yes. Choose 2 players and take turns on the same screen.
How hard is the hard bot?
The hard bot looks ahead through the whole game on small boards and does not make simple mistakes, so expect draws more often than wins.
Is XO Arena free?
Yes. It is free to play in your browser, with no download and no account.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. It runs on phones, tablets and computers. Tap an empty cell to place your mark.
