How to play Slime Volley
Slime Volley is a side-view volleyball game with round blobs. Your blob lives on the left half of the court, a net splits the field, and the ball only stops being dangerous when it lands on the other side. Run under the ball, jump to hit it harder and send it over the net so it touches the floor on your opponent's half.
Play the tour against eight blobs, each with its own look and court: a floaty moon ball, a giant blob, a small and fast one and a final with everything together. Every win unlocks that blob as your own look and earns up to three stars. Quick match lets you choose an easy, medium or hard bot and a target of 5, 7 or 11 points. Two players can share one screen with separate keys or split on-screen buttons.
Each side may touch the ball three times in a row, with little dots showing how many touches are used; the rule can be switched off. Sounds are generated, progress is saved on your device, and an optional video gives a 2-0 head start for a rematch after a loss.
Controls
A D or arrow keys: run. W, Up or Space: jump. Two players: A D W against the arrow keys. P or Esc: pause. M: sound.
Hold the left and right buttons to run and tap the orange button to jump. In two-player mode each player has three buttons on their own side.
FAQ
How do I score?
Make the ball touch the floor on the other side of the net. The player who scores serves next, and the first to the target score wins.
What is the three touches rule?
Your blob may hit the ball up to three times in a row before it must cross the net. Dots next to the score show how many you used. You can switch the rule off in Quick match.
Can I play against a friend?
Yes. Choose Quick match, then Two players: one player uses A, D and W, the other the arrow keys, or use the split on-screen buttons on a phone.
What do I unlock?
Every tour match you win unlocks that opponent's look for your blob, and you earn one to three stars depending on how few points you give away.
Is Slime Volley free?
Yes. It is free to play in your browser, with no download and no account.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. It runs on phones, tablets and computers. Hold the left and right buttons to run and tap the orange button to jump. In two-player mode each player has three buttons on their own side.
