How to play Air Hockey
Air Hockey is a fast table game: a glowing rink, a puck that slides almost without friction and a mallet you move with the mouse or your finger. Defend your goal, bank shots off the side walls and score seven first. Every hit makes the puck a little faster.
Play against a bot on Easy, Medium or Hard, or share the screen with a friend (one player on each half, with touch or keys). Optional power-ups appear on the table: a split puck that turns one puck into three and a wide mallet for a few seconds. After a lost match you can resume once with an optional video, or simply start a rematch.
Wins and your best streak are saved on your device, so you can close the tab and come back later. The game runs in the browser with no download and no account.
Controls
Move the mouse to slide your mallet. Arrow keys or W A S D also work. Esc or P pauses.
Drag a finger on the table to move your mallet. In two-player mode each player drags on their own half.
FAQ
How do I win?
Be the first to score seven goals. Hit the puck into the far goal slot and defend your own.
How do the bot levels differ?
Easy is slow and misses a lot, Medium predicts bounces, Hard is fast and rarely misses. The bot is the same for a given seed.
Can two people play on one screen?
Yes. Choose 2 players: one drags on the lower half, the other on the upper half, or use keys (W A S D and arrow keys).
What do the power-ups do?
A split puck turns one puck into three, a wide mallet makes your mallet bigger for eight seconds. They can be switched off in the menu.
Is Air Hockey free?
Yes. It is free to play in your browser, with no download and no account.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. It runs on phones, tablets and computers. Drag a finger on the table to move your mallet. In two-player mode each player drags on their own half.
