How to play Farm Plots
Farm Plots is a relaxed farming game with a plot of land, a watering can and a handful of seeds. Tap an empty plot to plant, tap it again to water it, and watch the crop grow through four stages until it glows and is ready to harvest. Crops only grow while the soil is wet, so keep an eye on the blue drops, and keep the can topped up: the well refills it one charge at a time.
Harvested crops go into the barn. Sell them at the market (prices change when a crop is in demand) or keep them for the villagers' orders, which pay more than the market, and pay almost double for a rush order. Seven crops unlock as your farm level rises, from quick wheat to slow, valuable sunflowers. Crows land on the field now and then: tap one to shoo it away before it eats a crop.
Expand the field from four plots to twenty-five, upgrade the can, the well, the barn and sprinklers, reach goals for bonus coins and collect a daily gift. Your farm keeps growing while you are away and everything is saved on your device.
Controls
Mouse: click or drag over plots to plant, water and harvest. Keys: 1-7 choose seeds, H harvest all, O orders, B barn, U upgrades, G goals, M sound, P pause. Arrow keys move between plots.
Tap a plot to plant, water or harvest; drag a finger across plots to do many at once. Pick the seed in the bar at the bottom and open Orders, Barn and Upgrades from the buttons below it.
FAQ
Why is my crop not growing?
Crops only grow while the soil is wet. A plot with a blue drop above it is thirsty: tap it to water it. Most crops need two waterings, and the can is refilled by the well, one charge at a time.
What do the villagers' orders give me?
More coins than selling the same crops at the barn, plus bonus experience. Rush orders pay almost double. Swap an order you do not want and a new villager arrives soon.
What do the crows do?
From level 3 a crow sometimes lands on a plot. Tap it within a few seconds to shoo it away and earn a small reward; an ignored crow eats the crop.
Does the farm grow while I am away?
Yes. Crops that were watered keep growing and the can refills, for up to eight hours. Crows never visit while you are away.
Is Farm Plots free?
Yes. It is free to play in your browser, with no download and no account.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. It runs on phones, tablets and computers. Tap a plot to plant, water or harvest; drag a finger across plots to do many at once. Pick the seed in the bar at the bottom and open Orders, Barn and Upgrades from the buttons below it.
