How to play Pair Quest
Pair Quest is a memory card game with a small RPG on top. Each level sends one to four monsters at your party. The 25 cards are shown for five seconds, then flip face down, and you look for matching pairs two at a time.
Each pair does something. Weapon cards hit the monster for 5, 10 or 15, a potion heals, a shield blocks the monsters' actions for a few turns, and the single wild card doubles any pair it joins. Slimes hit you on every wrong guess; other monsters act every few turns, and the tricky ones shuffle, freeze or burn cards.
Clear a level for up to three stars and a coin, then spend coins in the shop on more health and more attack. Boss levels are the big tests. Progress, coins and upgrades are saved on this device.

FAQ
How do the pairs work?
Flip two cards with the same picture. Weapons hit the monster, a potion heals you, a shield blocks monster actions for three turns. The wild card with any card does that card twice as strong.
What happens when I guess wrong?
The cards flip back and it counts as a turn. Slimes hit you every time; other monsters have a counter that drops each turn and strike or use a trick when it reaches zero.
How do stars and coins work?
Up to 3 wrong guesses in a level gives three stars, up to 7 two stars, more gives one. Your first clear of a level gives one coin to spend on max health or attack.
Is there a way to revive?
No. Retry the level from the map: your upgrades stay, and the five-second preview helps you remember the board again.
Is Pair Quest free?
Yes. It is free to play in your browser, with no download and no account.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. It runs on phones, tablets and computers. Tap a card to flip it. Tap Pause for restart and map.
