How to play Idle Fishing
Idle Fishing is a relaxed fishing and upgrade game. Tap to cast, wait for the bobber to dip, then tap again when the marker crosses the green zone: a perfect timing lands a bigger payday. Fish go into the cooler, so sell them at the dock and spend the money on a faster rod, a wider reel zone, better bait, a bigger boat and a stronger angler.
Buy the auto hook and your boat keeps fishing on its own, even while you are away. Open six waters from Muddy Bend to the Abyss Trench, each with six species, shiny fish, big fish and rare trophy catches. Fill the catch book of a water for a permanent income bonus, and set sail on a new voyage to earn pearls that boost everything you catch.
Progress is saved on your device. Watch an optional video to double your offline earnings or to get five minutes of double income.
Controls
Space / Enter / click: cast and reel (tap when the marker is in the green zone). S: sell. 1 to 4: switch tabs. P or Esc: pause. M: sound.

FAQ
How do I catch a fish?
Tap CAST LINE, wait for the bobber to dip and the exclamation mark to appear, then tap REEL when the white marker is inside the green zone. The middle of the zone gives a perfect catch worth 50% more.
Does the game play while I am away?
Yes, once you buy the Auto hook. It casts and reels for you and, when you come back, you collect what it caught (up to two hours). Without the dock crane the cooler limits how much it can hold.
What are pearls?
Set sail on a new voyage once you have earned $50K to get pearls. Each pearl adds 10% to all income for good. The voyage resets money, gear and waters but keeps your catch book.
What does the catch book do?
It records every species you land. Finding all six species of a water adds a permanent 10% income bonus.
Is Idle Fishing free?
Yes. It is free to play in your browser, with no download and no account.
