How to play Idle Bakery Tycoon
Idle Bakery Tycoon starts with one oven and one hungry customer. Tap the oven to bake loaves and earn your first coins, then hire an apprentice, a bread oven, a pastry chef and more, all the way up to an orbiting oven that bakes in zero gravity. Ten kinds of staff keep baking for you, and every copy you hire makes the next one a little more expensive.
Spend coins on upgrades: hotter coals double every tap, recipes double a whole team, shop signs lift all income, and quick hands turn each tap into a share of your income per second. A golden croissant appears now and then: catch it for a lump of coins or a short rush hour with five times the income. Watch an optional video for double income for three minutes.
Close the game and the bakery keeps working at half speed for up to four hours, so you come back to a pile of coins. When growth slows, open a new branch: staff and upgrades restart, but every star you earn adds four percent to all income, forever. Progress is saved on your device.

Does the bakery earn while the game is closed?
Yes. Your staff keep baking at half speed for up to four hours. When you come back you collect the coins, and you can watch an optional video to double them.
What is a branch and what do stars do?
Once you have baked about two billion coins in total you can open a new branch. Staff and upgrades restart, but each star you earn adds 4% to all income for good.
What does the golden croissant do?
Catch it before it fades. It gives a lump sum worth several minutes of income, or a rush hour with five times the income for twenty seconds.
Do I have to watch videos?
No. Videos are optional: one gives double income for three minutes and another doubles the coins you earned while away. A short ad can also appear at natural breaks.
