How to play Hedge Guard
Hedge Guard is a lane defense game set in a garden. Bugs crawl in from the right along five lanes and you stop them by planting defenders on the tiles. Pick a seed card, tap a tile and your plant goes to work: sprouts spit seeds down their lane, dew lilies make the dew that pays for everything, bark walls hold the line and berry bombs clear a patch of the lawn.
Dew also falls from the sky, so keep tapping it. Each plant card has a price and a recharge time, so you decide what to plant first and when to save up. Every lane has a watering cart that sweeps the lane once if a bug reaches the house, but it only works one time.
Bugs come in waves and every level ends with a big final wave. Grubs are easy, leafers carry a leaf shield, crickets run, hoppers jump over your first plant and beetles and stags take a lot of punishment. New plants unlock as you clear levels: frost berries slow bugs, thorn mats cut anything that crosses them, fire peppers scorch a whole lane and twin sprouts double your firepower. The levels never run out, and your progress is saved on your device.
Controls
Mouse: click a seed card, then a tile. Click dew to collect it. Keys: 1-8 pick a card, arrows move, Enter or Space plants, X digs, P pauses, M mutes.

FAQ
How do I get more dew?
Tap the dew that falls from the sky, and plant dew lilies: each one makes a new drop every 15 seconds. You can also watch an optional video once per level for extra dew.
What happens when a bug reaches my house?
Each lane has a watering cart that sweeps away every bug in its lane, once. If a bug gets in again in a lane whose cart is used, the level is lost. An optional video gives you a second chance.
Which plants do I get?
You start with the sprout and the dew lily. Bark walls arrive at level 2, berry bombs at 3, frost berries at 4, thorn mats at 6, fire peppers at 8 and twin sprouts at 10.
Do the levels end?
No. Every level you clear unlocks the next one, with longer and tougher waves and new kinds of bugs along the way.
