How to play Royal Route
Royal Route is a draw-and-drop physics puzzle. The Prince hangs from a bar high above the field and the Princess waits on her tower far below. Draw a path with your finger or mouse: the bar follows it, carrying the Prince, and at the end of the line he lets go and falls like a rag doll.
The field is full of spiked balls and cubes, swinging maces and balls that slide back and forth. A touch to the head or body ends the run, a touch to an arm or leg breaks that limb, and a crate or the ground makes him let go early. Land safely on the tower and stay there to rescue the Princess; the fewer limbs you lose, the more stars you earn, from one to three.
There are 40 hand-tuned levels that start gentle and add moving hazards and maces as you go, then it keeps playing with random levels. Watch an optional short video after a loss to skip a level. Your progress and stars are saved on your device.

FAQ
How do I save the Princess?
Draw a path from the Prince with your finger or mouse. He is carried along it and lets go at the end. Land on the Princess's tower and stay there for a moment.
What hurts the Prince?
Spikes and maces. Touching his head or body ends the run, an arm or a leg breaks off, and with both legs gone a hit to the hips ends it too. Crates and the ground make him let go early.
How do stars work?
Every rescue earns one star. Losing no limb gives three stars, losing one limb gives two.
What does the video button do?
After a loss, a short optional video lets you skip to the next level.
Is Royal Route free?
Yes. It is free to play in your browser, with no download and no account.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. It runs on phones, tablets and computers. Draw a path from the Prince with your finger, then lift it.
