How to play Gem Orbit

Gem Orbit is a fast match-three puzzle on an eight by eight board with six gem colours. Swap two neighbouring gems to line up three or more of the same colour, and watch the gems above fall into place and chain into new matches.

Every match fills an energy bar, and the bar drains all the time. Fill it to clear the level; if it runs empty or the clock runs out, the run is over. Quick matches build a speed combo that scores more and refills energy. Four in a row makes a blast gem that clears the area around it, an L or T shape makes a line gem that clears a row and a column, and five in a row makes a hyper gem that wipes out every gem of one colour when you swap it.

Clear 15 levels across five planets: each level drains the energy faster, every cleared level adds 30 seconds, and the time left at the end is worth a big bonus. Use a hint when you are stuck or watch a short optional video for extra time. Your best score and level are saved on your device.

Click a gem, then click a neighbour, or drag it. Arrow keys and Space also work. H hint, P pause, M mute.
