How to play Pong Duel

Pong Duel is a fast two-paddle rally game. Move your paddle to return the ball; where it hits the paddle decides the angle, and every return makes the ball a little faster. Miss it and your opponent scores. First to eleven points wins the match.

Play the bot on Easy, Normal or Hard, share one screen with a friend (two players on one keyboard or one touch screen), or try Survival: a wall on the other side, three lives and a ball that never stops speeding up. Optional power-ups drop onto the court: a wide paddle for whoever hit last, and a slow ball for everyone.

Your longest rally, your Survival best and your wins against the bot are saved on your device, so you can close the tab and come back later. The game runs in the browser with no download and no account.

Controls

W / S or the arrow keys, or move the mouse, to steer your paddle. Two players: W / S for player 1, the arrow keys for player 2.

Drag a finger anywhere to move your paddle. In two-player mode each player drags on their own half of the screen.

FAQ

How do I win a match?

Be the first to eleven points. You score when the ball gets past your opponent's paddle.

Can I play with a friend on one device?

Yes. Choose 2 PLAYERS: on a keyboard player 1 uses W and S and player 2 uses the arrow keys; on a touch screen each player drags on their own half.

What is Survival mode?

You play alone against a wall with three lives. Every return makes the ball faster, and the speed keeps growing. Your longest run is saved.

What do the power-ups do?

A wide paddle makes the paddle of the player who hit last 50 percent longer for eight seconds. A slow ball slows the ball for five seconds. You can switch power-ups off in the menu.

Is Pong Duel free?

Yes. It is free to play in your browser, with no download and no account.

Can I play on my phone?

Yes. It runs on phones, tablets and computers. Drag a finger anywhere to move your paddle. In two-player mode each player drags on their own half of the screen.
