How to play Minesweeper+
Minesweeper+ is a mine-clearing puzzle set on a derelict starship. Each sector is a grid of metal plates with hidden mines under some of them. Tap a plate to reveal it: a number tells you how many mines touch it, and an empty plate opens the area around it. Flag the plates you know are dangerous, and tap a number that has enough flags to open all its neighbours at once.
Unlike the classic, a mine does not end the game at once: you have three hull points, and each mine you set off costs one. Clear a sector to earn salvage: a Scan charge reveals a safe plate, a Radar charge marks every mine in a 3x3 area, and a Shield charge restores a hull point. Sectors 1 to 8 can always be solved by logic alone; later ones grow from 7x8 to 11x14 plates with up to 21 percent mines and may force a calculated guess.
The first plate you tap is always safe and opens an area. Beat the clock for a speed bonus, keep your hull intact for a hull bonus, and your best score and furthest sector are saved on your device. Play with a mouse, touch (long-press to flag) or the keyboard.

FAQ
Can I lose on the first click?
No. The first plate you reveal is never a mine and it always opens a small area to start from.
What happens when I hit a mine?
You lose one of your three hull points and the mine is marked. At zero hull the run ends, but you can retry from a checkpoint every five sectors or revive once by watching an optional video.
Do I ever have to guess?
Sectors 1 to 8 can always be solved by logic. Later sectors may need a calculated guess, which is what scan, radar and shield charges are for.
How do I flag on a phone?
Long-press a plate, or press the Flag button to make every tap plant a flag. Tapping a number with enough flags opens the plates around it.
Is Minesweeper+ free?
Yes. It is free to play in your browser, with no download and no account.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. It runs on phones, tablets and computers. Tap to reveal a plate. Long-press, or switch on the Flag button, to plant a flag. Tap a number with enough flags to open its neighbours.
