How to play Flag Quiz
Flag Quiz is a quick geography game built around more than a hundred national flags, every one drawn in simple vector shapes. A flag appears, four country names wait under it, and you tap the right one. Later in a run the question flips: a country name is shown and you pick its flag out of four.
Sprint gives you 60 seconds. Right answers score more with a streak and with speed, a wrong answer costs 4 seconds, and every five in a row adds 3 seconds back. Endless gives you three hearts and a timer on every flag, and the flags get harder the further you get: rarer countries, and wrong answers that look more and more like the right one. Daily is ten flags that are the same for everybody on the same date, with up to three stars.
Pick World or one region (Europe, Asia, Africa, Americas, Oceania) for Sprint and Endless. A 50:50 hint removes two wrong answers. The Flag book shows every flag you have met: get one right to reveal its name and keep going to earn three stars for it. Flags you miss come back more often. Your best scores and your flag book are saved on your device.

FAQ
How many flags are in the game?
More than a hundred countries from Europe, Asia, Africa, the Americas and Oceania, from very well known to quite hard. Coats of arms are drawn as simple shapes.
What happens when I answer wrong?
In Sprint you lose 4 seconds and your streak. In Endless you lose a heart, and so do you when the timer on a flag runs out. The right answer is shown and the flag comes back more often later.
Does the game get harder?
Yes. Every six right answers is a new level: rarer countries and wrong answers that look like the right flag, for example two striped tricolours. In Endless the timer per flag also gets shorter.
What is the Daily?
Ten flags that are the same for everybody on the same date. Seven or more right earns two stars and nine or more earns three. Play on consecutive days to build a day streak.
Is Flag Quiz free?
Yes. It is free to play in your browser, with no download and no account.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. It runs on phones, tablets and computers. Tap an answer. The 50:50 button removes two wrong answers. The pause button is at the top left.
