How to play Tangram Fit
Tangram Fit gives you the seven classic flat pieces: two large triangles, a medium triangle, two small triangles, a square and a parallelogram. A dark silhouette is waiting on the board. Drag every piece into it until the shape is filled exactly, with no gaps and no overlap. Click or tap a piece to turn it 45 degrees, and flip the parallelogram when its mirror image is needed. Pieces snap to corners when you let go close to them.
There are 30 shapes in three chapters. In the first chapter some pieces are already in place and faint guide lines show how the shape is cut. The second chapter shows plain silhouettes, and the third chapter brings sharper, more spread out shapes. Every shape can be solved, and any exact filling counts, not only the one the shape was made from. Finish quickly and without a hint for three stars.
A hint locks one piece into its place after a short video, and the game is fully playable without it. Progress, stars and settings are saved on your device, so you can close the tab and come back later. The game runs in the browser with no download and no account.
Controls
Drag pieces with the mouse. Click a piece or press R to turn it, F to flip the parallelogram, H for a hint, Esc for the menu.

FAQ
How do I turn a piece?
Click or tap it to turn it 45 degrees, press R, or use the Rotate button. Scroll the mouse wheel over a piece to turn it either way.
When do I need Flip?
Only the parallelogram has a mirror image. Flip it with F or the Flip button when it does not fit either way round.
What does the hint do?
After a short video, a hint locks one piece into its place. You can always play without hints, and a hint-free fast solve earns three stars.
Is my progress saved?
Yes. Solved shapes, stars and your sound setting are saved on your device, with no account.
Is Tangram Fit free?
Yes. It is free to play in your browser, with no download and no account.
