How to play Sky Hopper
Sky Hopper is an endless climbing game in the clouds. Your little hopper bounces all by itself, so all you do is steer left and right and decide when to shoot. Land on a cloud to bounce, but watch out: pink puff clouds dissolve after one bounce, blue clouds swing from side to side and grey mist is only a decoy you fall through.
Spring pads fling you far up, a propeller cap lifts you for a few seconds, a rocket blasts you even higher and a bubble shield saves you from one hit. Storm critters float between the clouds: shoot them with a click, tap or Space, or land on top of them to squash them. Touch one from the side or below and the climb is over.
The higher you get the sparser the clouds, the faster the critters and the darker the sky, until you are climbing among the stars. Collect stars and clear critters for bonus points, and if you fall far up you can watch an optional video to bounce back in once. Your best score is saved on your device.
Controls
Left / Right or A / D: steer. Click or Space: shoot (the mouse aims). Land on a critter from above to squash it. P or Esc: pause.
Hold the two arrow buttons to steer. Tap anywhere on the screen to shoot towards that spot.
FAQ
How do I shoot the critters?
Click with the mouse (it aims at the pointer), tap on a phone, or press Space to shoot straight up. Big critters need three hits.
What are the different clouds?
White clouds are safe, blue clouds move sideways, pink puff clouds dissolve after one bounce and grey mist cannot be landed on at all.
What do the power-ups do?
A spring flings you very high, the propeller and the rocket carry you up for a few seconds and make you immune to critters, and the bubble shield absorbs one hit.
Can I continue after falling?
Yes, once per run you can watch an optional video to bounce back in on a fresh cloud with a few seconds of protection.
