How to play Rhythm Tiles
Rhythm Tiles turns a four-lane tile run into a little piano of your own. Tiles scroll down the screen and every tap on the lowest one plays the next note of the song, so the tune only exists as fast as you can tap it. Tap a tile, hold the long ones until they end, and tap both tiles when a row has two. Tap an empty cell, skip a row or let a tile slip off the bottom and the song stops.
Six original songs are built in, from the gentle Neon Dawn to the fast Overdrive, each with its own tempo, backing beat and glowing colour. Tiles get quicker as a song goes on, and timing counts: tapping a tile right on the dashed line is a Perfect and builds your combo multiplier. Clear a song with good accuracy to earn up to three stars, which unlock the next one. Endless mode chains songs together and keeps raising the tempo until you drop.
All the music is synthesised in your browser. If a run ends, you can watch an optional video to continue from the same tile. Your stars and best scores are saved on your device.

FAQ
What ends a song?
Tapping an empty cell, tapping a tile further up while the lowest one is still waiting, letting a tile fall off the bottom, or letting go of a long tile too early.
How do I get stars?
Play a song to the end. Three stars need about three out of four taps to be close to the dashed line; one star is for any clear. A star on a song unlocks the next one.
Can I continue after a mistake?
Yes. After a failed run you get a few seconds to watch an optional video and carry on from the same tile, with a short shield that forgives mistakes.
Where does the music come from?
Every melody and beat is made in your browser with Web Audio, so nothing is downloaded. The sound and beat buttons at the top right switch them off.
