How to play Mahjong Pairs
Mahjong Pairs is a calm tile-matching puzzle. Tiles are stacked in layouts that run from a small pyramid to a big fortress. A tile is free when nothing lies on top of it and its left or right side is open. Tap two free tiles with the same picture to remove them, and clear the whole pile to win.
Every deal is built from a real playing order, so it can always be finished. When no pair is left you can shuffle the tiles that remain, and the hint button shows a pair that keeps the board finishable. Undo is free, quick matches build a combo, and every level gives up to three stars for speed.
The twelve layouts come twice, the second time with more different pictures on the tiles. Pictures only: flowers, bamboo, dots, arrows, stars and more, with no characters to learn. Progress, stars and settings are saved on your device. The game runs in the browser with no download and no account.

FAQ
When is a tile free?
When no tile lies on top of it and at least one of its two sides (left or right) has no tile touching it. Tiles that are not free look darker.
Can I get stuck?
A deal can always be finished, but a wrong choice can leave no matching free pair. Then you can shuffle the tiles that are left (the new deal is finishable again) or undo your last pairs.
How do the stars work?
Three stars for clearing the level fast with at most one hint, two for a steady pace, one for any clear. Time, combos and hints do not block you from finishing.
What do hints and shuffles cost?
Each level gives you 3 hints and 2 shuffles for free. After that you can watch an optional video for more. Undo is always free.
Is Mahjong Pairs free?
Yes. It is free to play in your browser, with no download and no account.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. It runs on phones, tablets and computers. Tap two matching free tiles. Hint, shuffle and undo buttons.
