How to play Lights Flip
Lights Flip is a glowing logic puzzle. A grid of tiles starts with some lights on. Tap a tile and it flips, together with the tiles directly above, below, left and right of it. Your goal is a completely dark board, in as few taps as possible.
The campaign has 30 levels that grow from 3x3 to 7x7, some of them starting from a pattern such as a cross, a frame or a checkerboard. Every board is generated so it can always be solved, and each level shows a par: the smallest possible number of taps. Finish at par for three stars. Free play gives you a fresh random board in any size from 3x3 to 7x7.
Stuck? Undo a tap, restart the level, or watch an optional video to get a hint that points to one good tile. Progress, stars, best scores and the sound setting are saved on your device. The game runs in the browser with no download and no account.
Controls
Click a tile. Arrow keys move, Enter or Space taps. Z undo, R restart, H hint.

FAQ
Can every board be solved?
Yes. Every board is made by tapping tiles on a dark board, so a way back to darkness always exists.
What is par?
The smallest number of taps that clears the board, worked out by the game. Match it for three stars.
What does the hint do?
After an optional video it makes one tile pulse: tapping it moves you one step closer to the best solution.
Is my progress saved?
Yes, levels, stars, best scores and the sound setting are saved on your device.
Is Lights Flip free?
Yes. It is free to play in your browser, with no download and no account.
Can I play on my phone?
