How to play Idle Breaker
Idle Breaker is a relaxed brick-breaking idle game. Balls bounce around a walled field by themselves and chip away at numbered bricks; every point of damage they deal pays you cash. Tap or click a brick yourself to hit it harder when you want to speed things up.
Spend the cash on more balls and better balls. Six kinds unlock as you climb: the plain Pebble, the Blast that also hurts the bricks around its target, the Seeker that curves towards the nearest brick, the Drill that passes through three bricks, the Burst that throws short-lived shards and the Toxin that poisons. Upgrade each kind's power, make all balls faster and train your own tap. Gold bricks pay five times as much and bomb bricks blow up their neighbours.
Clear a board and the next, tougher one drops in. Every tenth level is a boss board that gives a gem. When progress slows down, prestige: you restart from level 1 but keep your gems, and every gem is a permanent damage bonus, plus perks like lucky bricks, long naps and a helper finger. Your balls even keep earning while you are away. Progress is saved on your device.
Controls
Mouse: click a brick to hit it, click the buttons to buy. Keys: 1 to 6 buy a ball, U upgrades, P pause, M sound, Space taps a random brick.

FAQ
Do I have to tap?
No. The balls break bricks on their own and the game keeps earning while it is open. Tapping a brick just adds extra damage, and the Helper finger perk taps for you.
What does prestige do?
From level 10 you can reset to level 1 for gems. Cash, balls and upgrades start over, but every gem you ever earned is a permanent +10% damage, and you can spend gems on perks.
Do I earn anything while I am away?
Yes. Your balls earn half of their usual rate for up to one hour (more with the Long naps perk). A welcome-back card pays it out; you can watch an optional video to double it.
What are gold and bomb bricks?
Gold bricks pay five times their damage in cash. Bomb bricks, marked with an orange ring, explode when they break and hurt the eight bricks around them.
Is Idle Breaker free?
Yes. It is free to play in your browser, with no download and no account.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. It runs on phones, tablets and computers. Tap a brick to hit it. Tap the six ball buttons at the bottom to buy balls, Upgrades for power and speed, Prestige for gems. The II button pauses.
