How to play Hitori Erase

Hitori Erase is a number-logic puzzle on a square grid. Some numbers appear more than once in a row or column. Erase the right ones so that every number stays only once per row and column, erased cells never touch side by side, and all the cells that stay join up in one connected area.

Every puzzle has exactly one solution that can be found by reasoning, never by guessing. Levels start with small 4x4 grids that teach the three rules, then grow through 5x5, 6x6, 7x7 and 8x8 up to endless 9x9 grids. A new daily puzzle is waiting every day, and a streak counts the days you solve it.

Tap a number to erase it, tap again to bring it back, or switch to the Keep tool to circle numbers you know must stay. Conflicts are shown while you play, undo and redo are unlimited, and every puzzle gives two free hints that explain the next move. Earn up to three stars per level for solving without hints and under the par time. Progress, stars and your daily streak are saved on your device.
