How to play Farkle Dice

Farkle Dice is a press-your-luck dice game. Each turn you roll six dice, tap the ones that score (1s, 5s, three or more of a kind, a straight, three pairs) and choose: bank the points, or roll the rest and risk a farkle, a roll with nothing scoring that wipes out the turn. Use every die and you get hot dice: all six roll again.

Play against a bot on Easy, Normal or Hard, share one screen with a friend in pass and play, or try the solo mode: ten turns, one best score. Choose to play to 2,500, 5,000 or 10,000; you need 500 in one turn to get on the board, three farkles in a row cost 500, and when someone reaches the target everyone else gets a last turn.

A free Hint shows the strongest keep, and you can win new dice sets (scarlet, jade, midnight) by beating the bot. Your stats and best score are saved on your device.

FAQ

What scores?

Each 1 is 100 and each 5 is 50. Three of a kind is 100 times the number (three 1s are 1,000). Four, five and six of a kind are 1,000, 2,000 and 3,000. A 1 to 6 straight is 2,500 and three pairs are 1,500.

What is a farkle?

A roll where no die scores. You lose every point you collected that turn. Three farkles in a row also cost you 500 points.

What are hot dice?

If all six dice have been set aside as scoring, you roll all six again and keep your turn points.

How does a game end?

The first player to reach the target (2,500, 5,000 or 10,000) starts the final round: every other player gets one more turn, and the highest score wins. In solo mode you play ten turns.

Is Farkle Dice free?

Yes. It is free to play in your browser, with no download and no account.

Can I play on my phone?

Yes. It runs on phones, tablets and computers. Tap the dice that score, then tap ROLL AGAIN or BANK. Tap the dice at the start of a turn to roll.
