How to play Alien Wave
Rows of aliens shuffle sideways and step down towards the ground. Slide your cannon along the bottom and shoot them with a single shot at a time, hide behind four crumbling barriers and watch for the bonus saucer that flies across the top.
Every wave marches faster and drops more bombs, tougher armored aliens arrive from wave 3 and zig-zag bombs from wave 4. Fallen capsules give a double shot or a shield, an extra life comes at every 3000 points, and a big boss with a health bar ends every fifth wave.
Your best score and best wave are saved on your device. The game runs in the browser with no download and no account.
Controls
Left and right arrows (or A and D) move the cannon, Space shoots one shot at a time. P pauses, M mutes.
Drag to move the cannon, tap to shoot, hold your finger down to auto-fire.
FAQ
Why can I only fire one shot at a time?
That is the rule of the game: your next shot is ready when the last one hits or leaves the screen, so aim before you fire. A double-shot capsule allows two shots at once for a while.
What happens when the aliens reach the ground?
The game ends at once, even if you have lives left. Lives are lost only to bombs, so keep shooting the lowest aliens first.
What do the capsules do?
A yellow capsule gives a double shot for about 14 seconds. A blue capsule gives a shield that absorbs one bomb hit. Catch them with the cannon.
Is there a boss?
Yes. Every fifth wave is a boss wave: one big saucer with a health bar that fires bomb spreads. Beating it earns a large bonus.
