How to play Word Search Grid
Word Search Grid hides a list of themed words inside a square of letters. Drag a finger or the mouse from the first letter to the last; words run in any of eight directions, forwards or backwards, and a found word stays marked with a coloured bar.
Pick one of eight themes: animals, food, countries, nature, sports, home, space or music. Grids grow from 8 by 8 up to 14 by 14 and the word list from 6 to 12 words, and the early levels use only right and down lines. Finish quickly without hints for three stars. A free hint marks the first letter of a word; you earn one for every puzzle you finish, and you can watch a short video for another.
A new daily puzzle appears every day, and finishing it builds your streak.
Progress, stars, hints, streak and settings are saved on your device. The game runs in the browser with no download and no account.

How do I mark a word?
Press on its first letter and drag to its last letter along a straight line, in any of eight directions. Words can run backwards too.
Do I have to find the words in order?
No. Find them in any order; a found word stays covered by a coloured bar and is struck out in the list.
How do hints work?
The hint button rings the first letter of a word you have not found. You start with three, earn one for every puzzle you finish, and can watch a short video for one more.
What is the daily puzzle?
A new grid every day, the same for everyone. Finish it on consecutive days to build a streak.
