How to play Merge Pets
Merge Pets is a relaxed drop-and-merge puzzle with real physics. Aim a pet, let it fall into the jar, and when two of the same kind touch they merge into the next, bigger pet: Chick, Mouse, Frog, Bunny, Cat, Fox, Pig, Panda, Lion, Unicorn and the mighty Dragon. Pets roll, bounce and pile up, so every drop changes the shape of the jar.
Merges earn points that grow with the size of the new pet, and merges that follow each other quickly build a combo multiplier. Two Dragons that meet vanish in a burst for a big bonus. Only the five smallest pets are ever dropped, and the mix gets a little tougher the longer you last, so plan where the big ones will sit and leave room for the small ones.
The run ends when a settled pet stays above the red line. Your first undo of each run is free, you can watch an optional video to undo again or to clear the top of a full jar, and the Daily jar gives everybody the same sequence of pets for the day. The Pet book keeps track of every pet you have grown, and your best scores are saved on your device.
Controls
Mouse: move to aim, click to drop. Keyboard: left/right arrows or A/D to aim, Space or Enter to drop, U undo, P or Esc pause, M sound.
Slide a finger to aim the pet and lift it to drop. The undo, pause and sound buttons are at the top right.
FAQ
How do I merge pets?
Drop a pet so that it touches another pet of the same kind. The two squish into the next pet in the chain: Chick, Mouse, Frog, Bunny, Cat, Fox, Pig, Panda, Lion, Unicorn and finally the Dragon.
When does the run end?
When a pet that has settled stays above the red dashed line for about two and a half seconds. Pets you have just dropped or that are still bouncing do not count.
Can I undo a drop?
Yes. The first undo of every run is free. After that you can watch an optional video to undo again. When the jar is full you can also watch a video to clear the top and play on once.
What is the Daily jar?
A run where the pets come in the same order for everyone on the same day, so you can try to beat your own score on the same sequence. Your best daily score is saved on your device.
Is Merge Pets free?
Yes. It is free to play in your browser, with no download and no account.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. It runs on phones, tablets and computers. Slide a finger to aim the pet and lift it to drop. The undo, pause and sound buttons are at the top right.
