How to play Color Link
Color Link is a pipe puzzle on a square grid. Pairs of matching coloured dots sit on the board: drag from one dot to its partner to lay a pipe. Pipes never cross, and when every pair is joined the whole board must be covered.
There are five packs of twenty boards, from 5x5 up to 9x9 with as many as sixteen colours. Every board comes from a generator and has been checked to have exactly one solution, so there is always a single way to fill it. Dragging over another pipe cuts it, so you can change your mind freely. Undo, restart and three free hints a day are always there, and you can watch a short video for one more hint.
Stars depend on how cleanly you solve a board. Your progress, stars and sound setting are saved on your device, so you can close the tab and come back later. The game runs in the browser with no download and no account.
Controls
Mouse: drag from a dot to its partner. Z or U undoes the last pipe, R restarts the board, H gives a hint.
Drag a finger from a dot to its partner. Undo, Hint and Restart buttons are under the board.
FAQ
Do I have to fill every square?
Yes. A board is solved when every pair is joined and no square is left empty. Each board has exactly one way to do that.
What happens when I drag over another pipe?
The other pipe is cut back at that square, so you can reroute freely. Pipes never cross each other.
How do hints work?
A hint draws one pipe of the solution. You get three free hints a day, and a short video gives one more. A hint lowers the stars for that board.
How do I unlock bigger boards?
Solve ten boards in a pack to open the next one. Packs go from 5x5 to 9x9.
